Cyanotype cushion cover

An organic cotton cushion cover featuring castor oil leaves on one side and a South African shweshwe print on the other. The leaf fabric was printed using the cyanotype process where two chemicals are painted onto the fabric and then left to dry. Once dry the fabric is placed in the sun with the Castor Oil leaves on. Where the leaves are the fabric remains the original colour while the rest goes blue. This is the original 'Blue print'. 

The cover measures 44cm x 44cm.

Due to the way the fabric was exposed there is a difference in the print across one side which is why this is a second. See photo for detail.
